Welcome to Lifestyle Weekends, a non profit club run by Swingers, for Swingers.

Who are we?

We are a group of couples who love to make friends and enjoy the finer things in life.  We decided to join all our likes into one (Food , Wine and a great group of like minded people) What else can you ask for?

We are a non profit group dedicated to building a network of swingers in the Brisbane area that is not controlled by commercial interests. All of our parties are designed as easy weekend trips from Brisbane. The Gold Coast, Noosa, Mt Tambourine, Stanthorpe, and Maleny are typical of our destinations.

There is no membership fee, joining tests, interviews, or anything else. The only rule is that only couples are allowed to join and attend our functions. A large debate took place about allowing singles, either male or female, and we decided that this group is all about couples, and singles would change the dynamic.

The hub of the club is the members mailing list. Once you join, you get added to this list, and all members can send messages to the whole list. This lets you keep in contact with your new friends, or see if anyone wants to join you for a night out, or just generally chat.

Bob and Corina try to host the parties, but Corina's new business has made that very hard. So from the original idea of regular parties organised and hosted by Corina, we have now broadened our scope. We have expanded our original ideas of weekends away to include parties in Brisbane, Lingerie nights, drinks in Brisbane, and things like trips to sexpo. We have also thrown the floor open to anyone who wants to organise and host a party or any other event.

Having members running parties has left us a little less organised than we were in 2004, because members wanting to host don't plan too far in advance. This is something we are working on, and will fix shortly.

When we started the group, we just had the plan to hold parties, get people together for weekends, and try and build friendships. We decided to let the group decide on their own dynamics, what they like and don't like, and how they want things run.

The result has been amazing, but not what was expected. Most importantly, there have been many strong friendships formed within the club. Spending the weekend on the Gold Coast or Noosa gives you the chance to get to know other couples and form friendships. You just do not get that opportunity at a party.

The other thing that surprised us was that not a lot of playing goes on at the parties. Sure, there have been nights with a dozen people in an open room, and a party is never sex-free, but nowhere near as much as you would think. There is certainly a lot of couples heading home to their hotel rooms from the parties with new friends, and a lot of couples meeting up away from the parties. This attitude keeps the parties very low pressure and low stress, especially for couples new to the scene. No-one is ever forced to participate in anything they don't want to, and the layout of the houses we rent usually allows us to have the bedrooms well removed from the party room.

Interstate visitors are very welcome.

 What are the things we do?

LISTEN to your ideas and suggestions

Organise a venue for a party usually once each month

Give you all the details of the hotel we are having the party in so you can book accommodation there

Book DINNER Friday night at a nearby restaurant

Help put members in touch with each other to share accommodation or transport

Organise some DAY TIME EVENTS on the weekends away  .. e.g. a winery tour at Stanthorpe, or lunch at a café

Host the PARTIES

Let you organise extra events among the members (e.g. see you at Couples Int on Saturday, party at my place next week, dinner at a restaurant) (as long as you invite us)

Give you email access to the members  

Have FREE bubbly for the girls at parties

Provide nibblies, towels, condoms, lube etc at parties

Encourage all members to make new FRIENDS

Encourage couples new to swinging to try it in a safe friendly environment, and talk to them about what to expect, how to act etc.

 Why do we do it?

Because we are fed up with the COMPROMISES made to make a PROFIT from swingers parties

Because we want to have weekends away

To meet LOTS of potential FRIENDS
